Max Verstappen: “It’s not an easy track to understand”

Max Verstappen hopes the little experience he has of the Silverstone circuit benefits his as he tackles his first British Grand Prix this weekend. The Scuderia Toro Rosso driver raced at the circuit in his debut European Formula 3 Championship weekend in 2014, and tested a Formula Renault car there, and hopes for a positive weekend this weekend. Verstappen believes Toro Rosso will benefit with the high-speed corners of Silverstone, although the straights he believes will not work to the team’s strengths. “I’ve driven there in Formula 3 and one day of a Renault test, so not that much track time, but a bit more than at some other tracks,” said Verstappen. “It’s not an easy track...
