Alonso may take grid penalty at Silverstone

British Grand Prix – Honda's Yasuhisa Arai says that it's quite possible that Fernando Alonso will take another grid penalty this weekend, as his power unit sustained damage in his Austrian Grand Prix crash. Alonso, along with teammate Jenson Button, took a grid penalty last time out in Austria. This was due to a power unit change, exceeding the permitted four for the year. Coupled with a gearbox and various power unit component changes, Alonso ended up taking a 25 place grid penalty. Retiring from the race on Lap 1 after a collision with Ferrari's Kimi Raikkonen, Alonso's misery looks set to continue this weekend at Silverstone.
