Ricciardo: Silverstone is awesome!
Despite Red Bull Racing's much-publicised woes, Daniel Ricciardo can't help looking forward to the second of the team's home races, the British Grand Prix at Silverstone, next weekend. The Australian endured a torrid time at the team's other home, picking up grid and race penalties for an engine change on his RB11, but soldiered on for another tenth place finish, his second of the season. With Silverstone having similar hallmarks to both the Red Bull Ring and the Circuit Gilles Villeneuve, Ricciardo knows not to place too much expectation on the British race, but can't help getting excited about it. “I can't hide it - Silverstone's awesome!” he enthused, “I love high-speed circuits...
