Ecclestone doubts Fitzpatrick will fund Manor

Almost halfway through the 2015 season and embattled Manor F1 team may not be out of the woods yet. At the end of the ‘Marussia' chapter, the team was so close to collapse that its Banbury factory was sold to the new 2016 entrant, Haas. At the eleventh hour, however, a saviour emerged in the form of Stephen Fitzpatrick (pictured above), a young entrepreneur who heads the small but growing British energy company Ovo. Reports early this year suggested he rescued Manor by pledging almost $50 million of his own money.
