Rosberg defies gearbox glitch for fastest time at test
Having already given the Mercedes team a 1-2 result in Sunday's Austrian Grand Prix, Nico Rosberg completed a productive week in Spielberg by posting the fastest time of the two-day F1 group test in the midst of putting another 117 laps on the W06. Returning to the cockpit 24 hours later than scheduled, Rosberg was greeted by better conditions than faced stand-in Pascal Wehrlein on Tuesday, with a largely dry track on which to evaluate Mercedes' latest developments. It wasn't all smooth sailing for the German, however, as, following a relatively slow start as he worked through an aero programme, he was sidelined for the final hour before lunch by a gearbox problem that saw his crew working...
