Wittmann hails 'amazing' first F1 test
DTM champion Marco Wittmann says his first ever Formula 1 test was an 'amazing experience'. The German driver was given the opportunity to test with the Toro Rosso F1 team as a prize for taking last year's DTM title. Max Verstappen completed testing for the Italian outfit on Tuesday, before Wittmann took over running at the Red Bull Ring. He enjoyed a productive day of running at the wheel of the Renault-powered STR10, managing 158 laps in total. Wittmann ended the final day of the post-Austrian Grand Prix test in fourth place, completing long and short performance and aero runs for Toro Rosso.
