Verstappen happy with Toro Rosso updates

Austrian Grand Prix – Max Verstappen says that the updates brought to the Toro Rosso this weekend seem to have worked out well. The Dutch driver claimed P8 and was the highest placed Renault powered driver. Verstappen ran in the points consistently throughout the race and only relinquished P7 in the closing laps after being caught by the Mercedes-engined Pastor Maldonado. Earlier on in the race, Verstappen had to pass the Red Bull of Daniil Kvyat on track. The Russian driver had pitted earlier in the race due to car damage, making life easier for the Toro Rosso driver to overtake; Verstappen having just pitted for fresh tyres at the time.
