Hamilton blames faulty clutch for Austrian GP defeat
Lewis Hamilton suspects a start-line clutch issue cost him the chance of victory in the Austrian Grand Prix. Hamilton started from pole, but bogged down off the grid, allowing Mercedes team-mate Nico Rosberg to sweep through from second to take the lead heading into Turn 1. The reigning champion shadowed his team-mate throughout the remainder the race, but could not stop Rosberg claiming his third win from the last four races. “I didn't have the best start,” said Hamilton. “I had a problem with the revs in that, when I came off the throttle, the revs stayed up. “So, when I dropped the clutch, I had too much wheel spin and lost ground. “That's something we'll look at after the...
