Ricciardo pins early exit on brakes

Red Bull/Getty Images Daniel Ricciardo says problems with his brakes prevented him from making it through to the top 10 shootout at the Austrian Grand Prix. Ricciardo ran into the gravel during Q2 on his way to the 14th fastest time and will now drop to 18th due to an engine penalty. As he cannot serve the full sanction, Ricciardo will be issued with a five second penalty in the race, which he will serve at his first pit stop. "We ran into some issues under braking in Q2," he said. "I know what I felt – I'm not sure we know why it happened.
