Hamilton confirms switch to Bell helmet

Lewis Hamilton has finally confirmed that his 20-year relationship with helmet supplier Arai has ended and he will now be using Bell. As Motorsport.com revealed earlier this year, Hamilton began experimenting with Bell helmets earlier this year and had started using them in races. It came despite having used Arai helmets since his karting days. Hamilton had said at the time that one of the reasons for evaluating his helmet options now was to optimise aerodynamic performance.
