Red Bull Ring FP3: Vettel fastest as rain arrives
Sebastian Vettel and Ferrari continued to set the pace in the final free practice for the Austrian Grand Prix, as rain arrived in the Styrian hillside to set the stage for an intriguing qualifying in the afternoon. Vettel was 0.017 of a second quicker than Mercedes driver Lewis Hamilton, as the pair traded fast laps mid-way through the session, with the world champion perhaps a tad quicker but fluffed what could have been his best lap in the final turn. Nevertheless Ferrari look up for a fight with Kimi Raikkonen third fastest, with Nico Rosberg fifth fastest but likely also to be in the mix when it matters.
