Mercedes: 'We have a battle on our hands'
Nico Rosberg topped the opening practice session this morning, however it looks like a close battle could emerge between Mercedes and Ferrari this weekend. Although Rosberg topped Free Practice 1, Mercedes are hardly in a joyous mood right now in Austria. Rosberg could only manage second in Free Practice 2, meanwhile 2014 World Champion Lewis Hamilton was only able to go fifth fastest as only a second separated the top ten. 'In general it was a decent practice day for me.' summarised Nico Rosberg, who is aware of the closeness in pace between Mercedes and Ferrari 'It's a challenge to nail the setup for this track – but I felt comfortable in the car.
