Ricciardo: I didn t put the lap together
Red Bull Racing's Daniel Ricciardo says he is confident he can break into the top-ten on Saturday after finishing Friday practice for the Austrian Grand Prix in a lowly 17th. Ricciardo had been seventh in the morning session at the Red Bull Ring and believes that is where he would have been roughly in FP2 as well, but for a few issues with graining and just not putting the lap together. “We had it [graining] a bit here last year in some of the practice sessions, so it is combination of it being cold; the track surface here is very smooth, and it produces these sort of issues with the fronts,” he explained. “We will get on top of it.” “[Also] for the low fuel I didn't really put...
