Alonso receives 20 place grid penalty

McLaren Honda Fernando Alonso is set for a further struggle at this weekend's Austrian Grand Prix after McLaren added a fifth Internal Combustion Engine [ICE], Turbocharger [TC[ and Motor Generator Unit-Heat [MGU-H] to his MP4-30 in Austria. Formula 1's technical delegate confirmed on Friday morning that McLaren had elected to change the parts on Alonso's car, ahead of the upcoming race at the Red Bull Ring. Drivers are permitted four components of each part of the power unit and receive sanctions if a fifth element is introduced.
