Austria a test weekend for McLaren – Alonso

Fernando Alonso says the Austrian Grand Prix will be a 'test weekend' for McLaren, but is optimistic about the team's new updates. The Spaniard has retired from four of the six races he has competed in this season, as McLaren continues to struggle with reliability problems. The Red Bull Ring hosts round eight of the season this weekend. Alonso is not expecting the results to change despite new parts being fitted to the car, adding that it could be worse. 'Well, it will be another weekend where it’s going to be tough, where the results will not look good especially because there are probably some penalties to pay, so I think it’s going to be a test weekend for us, very important,' he...
