Perez confirms new Force India for Silverstone

Force India will give its much anticipated B-spec car its first run at the British Grand Prix, rather than wheel it out for the post-Austrian Grand Prix test. The team had hoped to bring the new specification VJM08 to Austria to give it its first run around the Red Bull Ring during the two-day test after the race, but while some new parts will be introduced next week, Sergio Perez confirmed the car itself will hit the track for the first time at Silverstone. “We are going to have it for Silverstone,” he said. “We are doing some testing with some of the parts in the test, but the main upgrade will come for Silverstone.
