Perez gets engine boost for Austrian GP

Sergio Perez believes the upgraded Mercedes engine he will have for this weekend's Austrian Grand Prix will be a boost to his chances. The Mexican driver will use his second internal combustion engine of the year, having run the same power unit in the first seven races of the season. Perez believes the nature of the Red Bull Ring, where engine power is highly rewarded, makes the change optimal for him. "It's an upgraded one. I think it's a good place to have a new engine," said Perez on Thursday. "This track is quite important the engine, so hopefully it can give us a good boost and we can be in a better position.
