Hamilton fends off Rosberg for Canada win

– Lewis Hamilton kept Mercedes team-mate Nico Rosberg at bay to claim victory in Sunday afternoon's Canadian Grand Prix, while Williams recorded its first podium finish of the season with Valtteri Bottas.Hamilton made a perfect start as the lights went out to hold his lead into the first corner, ahead of Rosberg, Kimi Räikkönen and Bottas.Hamilton soon put a couple of seconds between himself and Rosberg, while the front four gradually pulled away from the rest of the pack.Räikkönen was the first of the frontrunners to pit, swapping from Super Softs to Softs, but suffered a spin at the hairpin on his out-lap.This gave Bottas a golden opportunity when he pitted just a lap later,...
