Arai: Honda would supply a second team

Despite a myriad of issues with power unit output and reliability, Honda motorsport chief Yasuhisa Arai insists that the Japanese manufacturer would welcome the opportunity to supply another Formula One side. 'Maybe after the summer break, I hope someone calls me and says ‘please give me your good engine!' Right now we don't have it, but I hope we get it,' Arai said. 'I would feel a very good feeling if some new team says ‘we want to use your engine'. I would be very happy.' Such an entry would stand at odds with Honda's statement of exclusivity when it re-entered the sport in 2015, which it characterized as a partnership specifically with McLaren.
