Honda plans supplying F1 engines to multiple teams in 2016

Japanese engine manufacturer, Honda motorsport boss Yashusa Arai reveals that they want to supply a second team with power units 2016. Honda is coming under growing pressure to bring its new engine unit up to a more aggressive level following a series of technically motivated retirements in recent races, including three in a row for Fernando Alonso. Honda has entered in to Formula 1 alliance with McLaren for 2015, with no other power-unit customers. The final weekend of last month governing body FIA has opened up a selection process for a new team to join the grid next season or in 2017.
