Bernie unfazed by EU investigation

Bernie Ecclestone has brushed aside concerns about the European Union investigating Formula 1 over its payment structure and other aspects. With F1's smaller teams earning far less than the top outfits, reports emerged earlier this month claiming that an EU investigation could be on the cards. The likes of Force India, Lotus and Sauber are believed to feel that they are being unfairly treated under the current system. However, in order for an investigation, which would also include looking into the sport's Strategy Group, to take place, a formal complaint needs to be laid.
