Palmer to get five more FP1 outings this season

Lotus are committed to giving GP2 champion Jolyon Palmer a further five free practice outings this season, all of them in Europe, the team has confirmed. The Briton has already driven Romain Grosjean's car during FP1 in China, Bahrain and Spain, but will also get behind the wheel in Austria, Britain, Belgium, Hungary and Italy. He will also participate in the post-Austrian GP test which lasts two days. "I'm really looking forward to driving the E23 again in FP1 and then at the in-season test in Austria especially after not having been in the cockpit these past couple of races," he said.
