Button to serve drive-through during Canadian GP

McLaren has confirmed that Jenson Button will have to serve a drive-through penalty during the Canadian Grand Prix, after the team changed two power unit elements. The 2009 world champion suffered an ERS-related failure during third practice on Saturday morning. Because of the problem he was unable to take part in qualifying at the Circuit Gilles Villeneuve, leaving him in 20th place. McLaren said on Sunday morning that the MGU-H and turbo elements have been changed on his MP4-30 overnight. Both components are the fifth used by Button this season.
