Grosjean: Lotus has competitive long-run pace

Romain Grosjean continues to enjoy a resurgent weekend, returning to his late 2013 form at the Canadian Grand Prix over the past several days. Reaching into the top three in several practice and qualifying sessions, the mercurial Frenchman qualified fifth for tomorrow's race after reckoning that his blistering Q2 lap, which would have placed him at P3, was perfect and nearly impossible to replicate. 'It was a perfect lap in Q2, but generally I think our pace has been good all weekend long,' Grosjean said. 'Our long run pace felt pretty good yesterday as well: FP1 was pretty realistic.'
