Raikkonen insists too early to think win

Kimi Raikkonen has dismissed suggestions that qualifying third fastest for the Canadian Grand Prix stands him in good stead for victory in Sunday's race. The Finn did his best to make up for the mechanical problems that saw Ferrari team-mate Sebastian Vettel bow out in Q1, finishing as best of the rest behind the two Mercedes drivers at the end of the hour-long session, but insisted that, even with good long run pace in Friday practice, the Scuderia was not necessarily a threat to the Silver Arrows. “Obviously, we try to do our best and see what happens but it's too early to start [talking about a victory],” he replied when asked about his chances in Montreal, “Friday is Friday and...
