Hamilton on pole for the Canadian GP

Lewis Hamilton will start on pole for the Canadian Grand Prix after finishing fastest in qualifying at the Circuit Gilles Villeneuve on Saturday. The championship leader and world champion will be joined on the front row in Montreal on Sunday by his Mercedes teammate Nico Rosberg. Ferrari's Kimi Raikkonen posted the third fastest time to occupy the second row with Valtteri Bottas of Williams. Raikkonen's Ferrari teammate, four-time world champion Sebastian Vettel had a terrible day, failing to make it out of the first qualifying session to start at the rear of the grid in 16th.
