Button misses out on Canada qualifying

McLaren Honda Jenson Button's day is over after McLaren confirmed that the Briton will miss qualifying for the Canadian Grand Prix. Button's car stopped with seven minutes remaining in the final practice session on Saturday morning, with the problem deemed to be an ERS-related failure. With a short turnaround time between practice and qualifying, McLaren confirmed that Button's car will not be ready in time to take part in the session.
