Button to miss Canadian GP qualifying

McLaren has confirmed that Jenson Button will not compete in qualifying for the Canadian Grand Prix. The Englishman's Honda-powered MP4-30 suffered an ERS-related failure towards the end of third and final practice, bringing out the red flag for the second time in the session. Button parked the car at the side of the track at Turn 7. McLaren announced on Twitter that he will not take part in qualifying, with the Woking-based outfit's engineers now reviewing the data.
