Lotus display strong pace in Canadian practice

The Lotus drivers Romain Grosjean & Pastor Maldonado were consistent top ten runners during today's two practice sessions in Montreal. They believe that their E23 is showing good potential for a strong race finish. With Lotus running Mercedes power in 2015, they are enjoying the grunt provided by the German manufacturer; coupled with a slippery aerodynamic design means that Canada is suiting their car far more than the last round in Monaco. Romain Grosjean was the nearest challenger to the leading Mercs in the dry FP1 session. He clocked up 35 laps, with a best time of 1.17.721. He ended the session in P3.
