New track, new challenges for Sainz
Following his run to tenth from the pit-lane in Monaco, Carlos Sainz has set his sights on more points in what will be his first visit to the Circuit Gilles Villeneuve in Canada. Another new venue for the Spanish rookie, Sainz says he is looking forward to getting his first laps around the iconic Canadian Grand Prix venue, particularly given its reputation for overtaking and exciting races. Currently 12th in the overall standings having scored in all-but-two races this season, Sainz is looking for more of the same in Montreal. “Canada will be another completely new track for me.
