Grosjean irritated by Verstappen claims
Lotus F1 Team Romain Grosjean has emphasised that he did not brake test Max Verstappen in the build-up to their collision during the Monaco Grand Prix. Verstappen clipped the back of Grosjean on the approach to Sainte Devote before suffering a heavy impact into the tyre barriers. In the immediate aftermath of the crash Verstappen suggested that he was brake tested by Grosjean and he reiterated those comments on his official website earlier this week. Stewards sided with Grosjean and slapped Verstappen with a five place grid penalty for the Canadian Grand Prix and the Frenchman was annoying with the claims of his young rival.
