Button scores McLaren's first points of 2015

McLaren finally managed to score their first points of the season, courtesy of an eighth place finish from Jenson Button, but more points could've been added to the tally had Fernando Alonso's car not suffered from an overheating issue. With the Circuit de Monaco being less engine-orientated than other tracks on the calendar, the McLaren team saw the event as their first real opportunity to score their first points in the new McLaren-Honda era. Both Jenson Button and Fernando Alonso fell just short of getting into the top-ten qualifying shootout on Saturday, but started 10th and 13th respectively after penalties to other drivers were applied.
