Button pleased to collect first McLaren points
McLaren Honda Jenson Button said he was pleased to collect McLaren's first points of the campaign and insisted eighth position at the Monaco Grand Prix was a surprise. Button started the race from 10th place and stayed out of trouble to register eighth position, ending McLaren's points drought since its reunion with Honda at the start of 2015. "It’s been a positive day for us," he said. "We were hoping to score a point today, and we scored four. I certainly didn’t expect to finish eighth.
