Verstappen hit with five place grid penalty for Canada

Max Verstappen has been deemed at fault for his race ending crash with Romain Grosjean in Monaco.Verstappen collided with Romain Grosjean after lining up the Lotus for a pass into Turn 1 on Lap 64. The Toro Rosso had pitted for supersofts on Lap 47, allowing the Dutch driver to catch and pass Valtteri Bottas in the intervening laps. Attempting to duck under the Lotus rear wing into St. Devote, Verstappen misjudged the pass and smashed into the back of the E23, before being pitched headlong into the barriers.
