Brundle positive over Pirelli's 18-inch tyre

– Ex-Formula 1 driver turned television commentator Martin Brundle praised Pirelli's efforts after trialling the company's 18-inch tyre concept in Monaco.Brundle was given the opportunity to test the tyre fitted to GP2's development car, completing a pair of demonstration laps on Saturday."This is a very good, positive initiative and it was really interesting to drive the Formula 1 circuit in a GP2 car with these tyres," said Brundle."It actually felt completely normal: by the second lap I was able to push the car a bit; I had my foot flat to the floor occasionally!"Initially, I was expecting the car to feel a lot stiffer with these tyres, but that wasn't the case...
