Verstappen ‘disappointed’ with top ten Monaco qualifying

Despite qualifying inside the top ten on his first visit Monaco, Max Verstappen was disappointed with the result, feeling he could have been higher up the grid had he being able to get his Pirelli tyres up to temperature. The Scuderia Toro Rosso driver initially qualified tenth, but will start ninth following his team-mates penalty, and will be looking to make the most of Sunday’s race to score his first points since Malaysia. “I’m disappointed with qualifying in P10 here in Monaco,” revealed Verstappen. “Q1 and Q2 were okay, even though I was already starting to struggle with the tyres, but in Q3 it was really difficult to get the tyres up to temperature. “I had no grip at all...
