Verstappen bemoans tyre difficulties in qualifying
Red Bull/Getty Images Toro Rosso's Max Verstappen was left to rue tyre issues which cost him time during the final qualifying session for the Monaco Grand Prix. Verstappen posted the second quickest time during the opening practice session on Thursday but difficulties in warming up the tyres limited his progress in qualifying and left him in 10th position. "To be honest Q1 was quite good but I was complaining to the team ‘okay we need to warm up the tyres better’," he said.
