Hamilton crushes Rosberg challenge for pole – Qualifying Report

Lewis Hamilton has seen off the challenge of Nico Rosberg & Kimi Raikkonen to take the most important pole position of the year. The Mercedes driver put in a time 0.4 seconds quicker than Nico Rosberg, who made a crucial error on his final timed run in Q3. Fastest man in FP3, Sebastian Vettel, took third place for Ferrari. – Q1: After Sebastian Vettel's attack in FP3, it appeared Ferrari were fully back in the game and ready to fight for pole position in qualifying.
