Di Grassi sets the benchmark – FP2 Report

Lucas di Grassi highlighted Audi Sport Abt's qualifying credentials as he set the pace in the second free practice session ahead of Nicolas Prost and Jerome D'Ambrosio. Contrary to many of the destinations the championship has been to this year, the conditions at the Berlin Tempelhof airport were very cloudy albeit still just short of 20 degrees centigrade. Tyre concerns had occupied the team's minds after the first free practice session, but any threat of the teams looking to conserve tyres were soon dismissed when everybody dashed out of the pit lane as the session began.
