Perez encouraged by confidence to push

Sahara Force India Sergio Perez says that Force India will make progress across the remainder of the weekend in Monaco and was encouraged by the confidence he had with the VJM08. Perez was 11th fastest in the second session around the streets of the Principality, having clocked the 14th best time in the opening 90 minutes of running. "We achieved even more than we expected this morning and managed to include some long runs in our programme," he said. "We did some experimentation with our tyres and, although the track conditions were not ideal, we decided to try some higher fuel runs.
