Lotus has big expectations for Monaco

Lotus team principal Federico Gastaldi says the Enstone-based outfit has 'big expectations' for the Monaco Grand Prix. The Mercedes-powered E23 Hybrid has showed good pace so far in 2015, but reliability woes and incidents have meant Lotus currently holds sixth place in the constructors' standings. 'We need to keep improving the level of performance,' Gastaldi said ahead of the sixth round of the season. 'We are much more competitive than last year – of course we have the new engine but it is also due to the aerodynamic and mechanical improvements made in 2015.
