We want to make fastest car on the planet – Wolff

Mercedes motorsport boss Toto Wolff says that changes proposed by the F1 Strategy Group are likely to make younger the series. Falling public interest has driven the group – it consists of FIA president Jean Todt, commercial boss Bernie Ecclestone, and the Ferrari, Mercedes, McLaren, Red Bull, Williams and Force India teams – to seek developments. The target is to make cars five to six seconds faster than at present via a number of aerodynamic rules, wider tyres, car weight reduction, higher-revving engines, increase noise and the reintroduction of refuelling, have all been proposed.
