Rosberg quickest at Barcelona test

Mercedes AMG Petronas Mercedes driver Nico Rosberg clocked the quickest time as Formula 1 returned to the Circuit de Barcelona-Catalunya for in-season testing. Rosberg’s time of 1:24.374 was quicker than his lap from Saturday’s qualifying session at the Spanish Grand Prix. Marcus Ericsson tested the Sauber C34 and set the second quickest time, ahead of Ferrari’s Raffaele Marciello. Daniil Kvyat was fourth quickest in the Red Bull, ahead of Lotus driver Pastor Maldonado. Nick Yelloly was promoted to testing duties with Force India a day earlier than expected as Pascal Wehrlein was suffering from a fever.
