Ocon gets Force India test call up
Esteben Ocon has been called up to drive with Force India on the second day of the F1 test at the Circuit de Catalunya in place of the unwell Pascal Wehrlein. Wehrlein had been due to drive the VJM08 today, but illness would see Nick Yelloly – who was originally scheduled to drive on Wednesday – take the seat. Since Wehrlein, fitness permitting, down to drive with Mercedes on Wednesday still, Force India will instead put Ocon in the car. With Wehrlein in the Force India due to his links with its engine supplier Mercedes, replacing him with Ocon comes as no surprise following the announcement over the weekend that the defending European Formula 3 Champion has signed an agreement with...
