Hamilton close to confirming new Mercedes deal
Lewis Hamilton has dropped the clearest hint that he will be confirming his new F1 deal with Mercedes imminently, suggesting he will have something to announce by the Monaco Grand Prix. Though he has given no indication that he is seeking an alternative to an extension with Mercedes beyond 2015, Hamilton's reluctance to formally put pen to paper has prompted continued speculation over the reason for the delay.
