Grosjean proud after ‘tough race' with gearbox problem
Romain Grosjean brought home another four points for Lotus on Sunday after finishing in 8th spot. The Lotus driver had to nurse his E23 home after it developed a gearbox issue during the race. That wasn't the only malady to hit the French driver over the 66 laps, as Grosjean was one of the two drivers involved in incidents with their pit crews. Coming in for a stop, Romain failed to slow on time and struck his front jack hard, sending his mechanic flying as he held on for dear life. While the mechanic wasn't seriously hurt, he was brought to the medical centre for checks and some bandaging.
