Rosberg takes victory in Spain – Spanish GP Report

Nico Rosberg has won the Spanish Grand Prix. The German driver took the victory ahead of team-mate Lewis Hamilton, with third place going to Ferrari's Sebastian Vettel. Rosberg's day was made considerably easier than he perhaps might have imagined when Lewis bogged down slightly when the lights went out. This resulted in Lewis falling behind Sebastian Vettel, and this allowed Rosberg to sprint away at the front. Lewis stalked the Ferrari for the opening stint, but despite showing better pace, was unable to clear Vettel even while using DRS.
