Rosberg: I need to work on my one lap pace
Mercedes driver Nico Rosberg says he needs to work on his one lap pace even though he posted the best time overall on Friday in practice for the Spanish Grand Prix. Rosberg edged out team-mate Lewis Hamilton by 0.070s in FP1 in the morning, but slipped to third in the afternoon, although his time in the opening session was still the fastest of the day, albeit just 0.024s up on Hamilton's marker in FP2. Asked why his pace wasn't so strong in the afternoon on the short runs, Rosberg replied: “It is always a compromise between long run and short run, set-up wise and everything.
