Rosberg leads Mercedes 1-2 in Spain FP1

Nico Rosberg set the pace in first practice for the Spanish Grand Prix, finishing just ahead of his team-mate Lewis Hamilton. The session saw three test and reserve drivers take to the track, with Susie Wolff, Jolyon Palmer and Raffaele Marciello completing first practice for Williams, Lotus and Sauber respectively. Conditions were warm and dry for the start of FP1, with Pastor Maldonado, Sebastian Vettel and Carlos Sainz Jr being the first to emerge from the pit lane.
