Horner: 'We're ready to put Williams and Ferrari under pressure'

Red Bull's Christian Horner says that the three week gap between Bahrain & Barcelona has allowed Renault to regroup after a disastrous opening quartet of races. He believes that it's possible to take on Red Bull & Williams in the not too distant future. An indication of how Red Bull's opening to 2014 has gone is to look at how Daniel Ricciardo's Bahrain GP ended. While the Australian crossed the line in 6th place, he was sitting in a car that was going no further as the Renault power unit in the back of the RB11 had exploded leaving the final corner.
